About the Partnership

Intersectional Environmentalist (IE), in partnership with The Eyes & Ears Agency and 5 Media, launched the sixth, and largest event yet, from our series of Earth Sessions concerts.

Earth Sessions SF was hosted at the Grand Theater (Gray Area) on October 16 2022, featuring an acoustic performance and meditation led by artist-activist, Raveena. We also had the pleasure of hearing from Courtney Desiree Morris, a visual and conceptual artist and assistant professor of Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of California Berkeley, as she spoke with IE’s Director of Programming, Kiana Kazemi, about the intersections of eco-feminism, environmental racism, and queer ecologies.

This Earth Sessions, our book giveaway was specially curated by all the contributors that brought the event to life. We are proud to support local indie bookstores like Medicine for Nightmares, as we continue to offer free books at our events to allow for accessible + intersectional climate education.

IE and The Eyes & Ears Agency extend a massive thank you to our sponsor, 5 Media, and Guayaki, Sweetgreen, and Eat the Change for supporting our programmatic vision.
